The Notebook producers knew what they were doing when they chose filming locations. The pond where Noah and Allie float alongside Noah's newly refurbished white house was filmed at Cypress Gardens in Charleston, SC. I fell in love with this place today. We spent an hour on this black water swamp and I could have stayed all day. I will need to come back here again, maybe for a very special occasion. They host weddings here where the brides ride into the ceremony on their boats...
